As with most things in life, taking the first step is often the most difficult and scariest. This is especially true when you are contemplating meeting with a therapist or psychiatrist. You understandably have concerns like, “will this person be the right doctor for me?”, “will this person understand me and treat me with respect?”, or even “can this person help me?” We understand that it takes a lot of courage just to decide to ask for help and want to make it as easy as possible for you. Your right to privacy begins with your initial contact with us and we will treat you as we would one of our family members or friends, with respect, courtesy, and kindness

Receive a Free Consultation

When you contact us by either phone or email, you will receive a free phone consultation from a psychologist. We will work with you to figure out if and how we can help you. We will address any questions you may have about your treatment and help you determine the right psychologist or psychiatrist for you, whether within our group or in the community.

How to Pay for Mental Health Services at Crossroads Institute

Engaging in self-care through treatment is truly an investment of your time, energy, and emotions, as well as financially. Your return on investment can be a better quality of life, increased emotional wellbeing, better relationships, and yes, even happiness.

If you prefer to use your insurance, we are in network with Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, and Medicare. We take all PPO plans as an out-of-network provider, which means that you pay us and get reimbursed by your insurance company. We can submit billing on your behalf at your request. Our office manager will help you figure out the details of your plan and coverage, although your insurance plan has the final say. You will want to verify the information we give you with your insurance plan. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to be aware of your benefits, and we are not responsible for any unexpected fees incurred due to lapse in coverage or out-of-network plans. This includes late cancellation fees if you find out we do not accept your insurance and your appointment is in less than 2 business days.
