Licensed Psychologist Founder and Director

Soni Kim Monroe, Psy.D

I no longer accept individual psychotherapy clients. My current clinical focus is on providing forensic evaluations for both civil and criminal cases for children and adults, and on providing clinical consultation. I also provide training and supervision on psychological and neurological assessments and on psychodynamic therapy, both within and outside of Crossroads Institute.

I received my BS from Boston College and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have worked with children and adults, and provided supervision and training to mental health professionals in a wide range of settings, such as community mental health and private practice. I was an adjunct associate professor at USC’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, and currently provide supervision at Harbor-UCLA’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows program. I founded Crossroads Institute with dual goals of providing high quality psychotherapy services to our clients and of providing a supportive, enriching environment for psychologists.
